Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Szalajka Liget Hotel és Apartmanházak was a delightful intersection of comfort and nature, ideal for history enthusiasts and casual travelers alike. The spacious room I occupied featured a lovely balcony overlooking the breathtaking Bükk Mountains, allowing for a serene start to each day. Enjoying authentic Hungarian cuisine in the hotel's restaurant, paired with fresh trout from the Szalajka Valley, added a fine-dining touch to our trip. Our group particularly relished the wellness area, which included a fantastic spa and an inviting outdoor pool, creating a perfect setting for relaxation after our explorations. The diligent staff ensured a smooth experience, making our stay a memorable one. For those venturing to Central Hungary, Szalajka Liget provides a perfect blend of nature, history, and hospitality.
